At ELODINA, we believe in beautiful, long-lasting products – with respect for people, animals, and the environment. On this page, we explain what we do, what we're working towards, and how you can contribute.

Materials & origin

• High-quality genuine leather , selected for its quality and longevity.

• We prefer to work with European suppliers and transparent chains.

• Where possible, we choose lower-impact tanning techniques (such as vegetable tanned leather).

• We consciously choose timeless designs: we prefer to buy less and use it longer.

Respect for animals: We consciously source from suppliers who operate under strict European regulations and take animal welfare seriously. We maintain active dialogue with our partners to ensure this.

Production & labor standards

• European workshops with safe working conditions and fair pay.

• Small, controlled production batches reduce overproduction and waste.

Packaging

• Boxes and filling: preferably recycled or FSC-certified paper/cardboard.

• As little plastic as possible; where necessary, we opt for reusable or recyclable bags.

• Gift wrapping? We also focus on materials with a lower environmental impact.

Shipping & CO₂

• Order before 1 p.m. on weekdays, and we'll ship the same day (usually 1-2 days in the Netherlands, ~2 days in Belgium).

• We bundle shipments where possible and choose delivery services with emission reduction programs.

Lifespan & maintenance

• 1 year manufacturer's warranty on product and/or material defects.

• No repair service: We don't carry out repairs ourselves, but we are happy to advise you on maintenance or a local specialist.

• Maintenance tips: Clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth, use a pH-neutral leather cream sparingly, avoid prolonged exposure to sun and rain.

Returns, exchanges & reuse

• Return within 14 days of receipt (undamaged and complete).

• Unworn returns will be put back on sale; we offer light cosmetic items – where appropriate – as a "last chance" item.

Transparency & goals

We're continuously improving. We're working on:

• Even more plastic-free packaging.

• Higher percentage of (vegetable) tanned leather.

• Even longer service life due to improved maintenance instructions and spare parts options.
